Hello Oak Creek Families,
I hope you all had a fantastic summer and are excited about the 2019-2020 school year!
It’s hard to believe that this will be my 34th year in the Oak Creek-Franklin Joint School District, dating back to my first day as a student in kindergarten at Meadowview Elementary, all the way through my coaching, teaching, and administrative roles in the district as an adult. I’ve seen this district grow exponentially during that time, and I’m proud to say we’ve done a great job in establishing ourselves as one of the most well rounded school districts in the state of Wisconsin.
One of the areas that has emerged in making our district and community so great has been our Youth Programs department. As an Oak Creek resident, my own children have all participated and benefited from the program offerings each school year. Whether it be a weekend camp or a seasonal sports league, the programs have provided my kids with a fun, organized, and beneficial experience.
As the Athletics/Activities Director at Oak Creek High School, the programs and camps that are in place are proving to me that our youth are being put in a wonderful position to grow and develop mentally and physically as they prepare to eventually become Oak Creek Knights!
I strongly encourage you to take advantage of one of the many programs offered this Fall, and look for more fantastic offerings throughout the school year. Have a great 2019-2020 school year, and GO KNIGHTS!
