Description:
Every minute that goes by after someone goes into cardiac arrest, the chances of survivability decrease by 10%.  Early recognition of cardiac arrest, early compression, and defibrillation saves lives.  This Hands-Only CPR course is designed for the layperson to focus on compressions only in the event of cardiac arrest.  Use of an AED, naloxone (Narcan), and Life Vac are also included.

Who would need this course?  Anyone who wants to know CPR and does not require a certification.

You will learn:
  • How to identify cardiac arrest
  • How to perform chest compressions
  • Infant & Child CPR
  • How to operate an AED
  • How to care for someone who is choking
  • Life Vac and Heimlich (infant, child, adult with modifications)
  • How to use naloxone (Narcan)
