Description:
Join your Oak Creek neighbors and friends for a private docent-led 1.5 hour walking tour of Boerner Botanical Gardens at the height of the rose season. Thousands of plants bring the season to life, with colorful and fragrant displays in a variety of formal gardens. Enjoy a stroll under blossoming crabapples and magnolia trees while exploring rose, peony, and daylily gardens.
A picnic lunch will be provided and served at the Botanical Gardens after the tour.
Boxed Lunch: Sendiks Picnic Turkey, Roast Beef or Veggie Sandwich with Pickle, Cookie and Water
Tour, lunch and transportation are included. Round-trip transportation provided by OCR staff in district vans. Tours are held rain or shine. Dress appropriate for the weather.
Participants must be able to navigate a variety of terrain and move in and out of passenger vans.
