Swimming for Safety
Designed with safety in mind.  Parent & Child class offers an introduction to the pool and water. Children ages 4 years and older, may enroll in leveled swim lessons (Levels 1-4).  Staff will instruct students how to be comfortable in the water, back floats, front floats, and kicking.  As students progress they will be introduced to front crawl and back crawl.  While starting with assistance, by Level 4, swimmers will swim both front and back crawl unassisted at least two pool lengths meeting most deepwater requirements.

Prerequisite for Parent-Child: be at least 6 months - 4 years old
Prerequisite for Level 1: be at least 4 years old, any swimming ability
Prerequisite for Level 2: pass level 1 or be comfortable putting their face in the water and following simple instruction
Prerequisite for Level 3: pass level 2 or can swim at least 10 yards without assistance in both front crawl and back crawl. 
Prerequisite for Level 4: pass level 3 or can swim at least 25 yards without assistance in both front crawl (with rotary breathing) and back crawl.
